Career as doctor or Software engineer ?

Hi guys , i am sending my application to a university in france but i am having difficulties in choosing the field that i would go for:Medical Or IT Field ? My parents and all my family members want me to become a doctor (become rich, good status in society and we don't have a doctor in our family..so) But i want to become a software engineer , i love/passion for computerS,programming and everything associted with IT field but i am not being able to decide ! Should i choose the path where there is money or the one that i love to do ?Do you think that the IT sector has become saturated now ? Take care guys... Meven
