I prefer in the morning, while people still dreaming in their dream! I find out that there are so many disturbance in my room, from my roommate's radio, music, ect. How about you? Do you like to study in the morning, evening, or in the night?

if you're talking about wee hours in the morning like 2am? YES. I tend to be more attentive or i should say my brains seems most absorbent when there is absolutely no noise. When everything is quiet and nothing moves. Yea. AND of course when there is no sun. When the sun is out, i tend to find it somewhat glaring. Though my room has those black out curtains, the sunlight still seem to be able to creep it's way in.

You like dark and silent. I think I have the same idea as you. That's true that there less voice at that time. I usually open my window to let the morning air enter my room, make me awake and fresh at the same time.

hi dik-an! i like to study at night. it seems that my mind is working better at night than in the morning. but really, while i was studying, most of my study time are aligned to travel time going to school. i really did not have study habits. i am very lazy. thank God that i have good comprehension, otherwise i would not have graduated with honors. i am not exactly proud that i am very lazy when it comes to studying, but that is just how i am. take care and God bless you! happy mylotting! ps. by the way dik_an, if you want to earn some more here in mylot, do start discussions that are at least 5 sentences long. longer discussions and even replies will pay more. just a piece of advice. :D

It really depends on who you are and what your habits are about studying. In college, it is said that you have to study whether you did so in college or not. I think it is best to study when you are well rested. I have heard some people say that studying right before you fall asleep is very efficient because you may dream of what you just studied. Everyone is different, but when it comes to studying notes, I think it is best to write in your own words, rather than straight out of the book. It is all about knowing what you have just heard or read and applying. You have to understand what you are studying or there is no point in studying it. You may also want to ask your teachers for some advice as well. Upperclassmen would also probably have great advice for you. "Studying is important, but it is not mechanical."

Evening or night. I don't study right after I wake up in the morning because I really can't focus then and I'm just "not there" and need something else to get my mind onto before tackling study. =P I can't study after school either because I'm really tired then, and I prefer to take a small rest, even if a small one, just to relax my mind before studying. The best time for me to study would be - I would say - at around 19:00 - 22:00. I can study after that if I'm not too tired either, but I think it would be safe to stick to those couple of hours. =P

I am not too sure about the timing. It depends on the mood. If I am in happy mood, then it is likely that the best time to study. :D.. It is easier for you to learn new things while you have a good mood. I think this is just suggestion but I believe it works for me. To keep me awake from study, I usually listen to music.

Most of the time I study at night. This semester I try not to wait until the wee hours of the morning. And so far so good. I usually stay up pretty late but sometimes my brain can only absorb what's on the t.v. screen. And it's not working well enough for me to get any studying done. I rarely study during the day. Speaking of which, I'm actually about to do some homework right now:)It's due tomorrow.

hi, my most efficient study time is night, especially midnight. I would rather stay up till 3 o'clock than get up at 7 in the morning. I'm not an early bird because my life clock is at night, and some people's are morning clock. I read this from an article the year before last. Also i enjoy studying on buses, when i'm taking a long trip, i seldom waste my time gazing out of the window and people . I would rather sink my head staring my books ( i always carry a book in my handbag.)
