when i turn the defroster and heat on,, all i get is cold air,,,,,,,,,how fo i fix this problem

If you are referring to your car, you may need a new thermastat

check your heating coil

it could be that you have a heater core problem.it could be blocked. it could have something to do with your a/c unit.
