I agree!
its stupid looking
i can get the same effect by wearing my robe backwards
why not just wear a robe
or put a sweater on or something?
why are people paying good money for this stuff?

Because we are all sheep and if one person on tv says it is cool than we all have to have one.

I agree with you there. Every time I see that add I'm like wondering why not just wear a robe? Wonder if they actually sell a lot of those things anyway?

yeah that is what I thought too. During the winter, I usually sit around the house in a pair of sweat pants and my robe. I used to have slippers too until the dogs chewed them up. I haven't replaced them yet, but that is on the "to-do" list for the near future when I can remember to pick some up when I am at the store. I am usually plenty warm enough with my robe and the sweat pants on. I will put on socks too if needed. I keep the thermostat on the heater set at about 68 during the winter, and I am usually not cold at all. My wife would still probably like the snuggie though...

I really want one. I am always covering up with a blanket and it would be great to have my arms covered and free at the same time so I can be on my laptop and still stay warm. I also like the idea of using it for camping. It does look silly, but who cares! I'd love to hear from someone who has one too.

I actually thought about getting my wife one of those. It looks like a cool idea to me. I wish I could have thought of it. Someone is making some money off that gadget, and I wish it were me LOL

Yes it is one of those things that make you wish that you had come up with it, kind of like the pet rock. I was thinking of getting my mom one actually!!

I saw those commercials and I though "that is the stupidest thing ever!" But then I come down to my home office (in the basement) and Im freezing, so I get a blanket and try to cover up and use the computer at the same time and then I think to myself, "Gee, I wish I had a Snuggie!" So maybe I just might have to try one out and see if they are worth all the fuss...just as long as my husband doesnt come home and see me looking ridiculous!

My mom just got one for Christmas from one of her friends. We had a falling out the day before New Years, so I have no idea if she uses it, but other than the dumb look, I think it's a pretty ingenious idea. I'm ALWAYS cold, and I thought it would be great to have what is essentially a big fleece blanket covering up all of my extremities for watching TV or reading a book.
