t.v causes mental disorders in children

i glanced over this artical in redicecreations.com that said t.v make kids materialistic and consumptious. has anyone read this?

I haven't read this article. I couldn't believe that it causes mental retardation. I do believe however that in someway, children are affected by the television when it comes to behavior. They tend to be more aggressive especially if they see on television that their superhero gets into fights and not mind it. They might think that it is okay to fight and that one doesn't get hurt when they fight.

Good point. Television reminds the youth that our skin colors are different, which creates hatred, but they do not remind us that we're all human, which would counteract any sort of hate speech.
