has anyone heard of the constitutional convertion

just about a month or so ago in my home town cleve oh local leaders came togather to discuss the constitutional convertion. much of r inform population also gathered and school our leaders on the dangers of call of such action. my knowledge on it is a bit cloudy,but it is to my understanding that just two or three states r needed to put a constitutional covention in place, which has the potential to change america as we know it. in ways both extremly good and bad. one bad thing that was of concern to me is was the possibilty of taken our rights away and who an what we may vote 4. if anyone one can tell me more about this cool:)
