When you are having a bad day or even a bad moment what helps you get back to normal? What picks you up your feeling down? For me, I start to listen to music and it helps me. Not slow music but something with a beat, something that moves me and tells me that everything is going to be fine.
What are some things that help you?

Hi there,
I play the piano and take all my frustrations out on it. If I'm feeling sad, I try to play upbeat songs to cheer me up, and even when I'm angry and upset about something, I take my anger out on the piano by playing something that requires a lot of force and energy. I love music and its therapy for my soul.

I used to play piano and when I did, I did take out my frustrations by playing. I haven't played in about 10 yrs and am actually thinking of taking it back up again!

A nice cup of my favorite tea (Earl Grey), a small treat like a cookie and some good music on the stereo. When I'm having a bad day, I will put in soft jazz and classical, not only does it help me relax, but it also helps me to focus a bit, I find ways to keep going. I also look to my children and my husband and what to do for them to keep all of us going.
