New to Mylot, any advice please

hello everyone, i am new here and was just wondering if you have any tips for me, any advice. the do`s and donts - This is my first computer and have only been using the world wide web for two weeks. Ps I am almost 60 and have managed to avoid computers all my life. My son has bought me this computer so we can keep in contact now he lives away. I have learned how to do video talking with him.
This is my first venture onto the world wide web without anyone to help me.

Well, the only few pieces of advice I can give you is don't swear, (it won't let you anyway) don't be offensive to anyone, (if you think what someone says is outragious, don't respond. Or answer him or her with your opinion why you think he or she is wrong. And don't hit the respond to this discussion button and give a real short answer like "I agree with you." Other than that, just be yourself. This is a bunch of mostly friendly people from all over the world. Enjoy Mylot and enjoy your new computer!
