Like you I cry out loud while listening to sad music, I also go to my bestfriend's place just to tell her why i am depressed. I need someone to talk to when in times of depression. I also want to eat chocolate when im depressed! haha

aside from crying non stop i always pray continuously so i can take the sadness that's affecting me. getting depressed is so bad that sometimes i feel like i will have fever and i just dont have the energy to do anything. thank God i seldom experience depression nowadays.

I cry, take my Wellbutrin, and I cross stitch. The repetitive nature of the cross stitching and I think of it as painting with thread since I create some kind of beautiful picture, helps me both with my depression and my insomnia. There have been some studies done about crafts (specifically cross stitching) and how they help people with depression. I haven't heard the results of the study, yet only that it was being done.

So far, i has not been depressed yet.. All along, i try to take things with a light attitude even though it's something serious.. It's not that i dun care, but rather, what's the point in being too serious when others are meant to put me down?? As long as i know i can try it, i will be able to do it regardless of what attitude i have towards things..
THough there are times i will feel helpless or sad, i will just go for my runs to relax my mood a little.. That's one of the reasons as to why i like running so much, as it really clears my mind of things ^_^

I take a few deep breathes and try to focus on something else. I was actually i a depressed/bad mood today, and I just tried to shove what was bothering me out of my mind, and it worked for a couple of hours at a time. Sometimes listening to soothing music helps me, as well.

I went through a few years of depression that was a nightmare at the time, today I think I have talked myself out of most of it, I still get down at times but I have decided to just make the most pf my life and not to feel sorry for myself, not to expect anything too much from anyone else, to love myself and to think of myself as important, I am just going to be grateful for my good health and to appreciate the smallest of things in my life and you know being here in Mylot helps me a lot as well....

I guess I just try to do something that i love doing. It normally helps me cheer up, even if it's just a little bit. It doesn't always work within the first few minutes. Sometimes, it takes a couple of hours before I feel any better. But if you do something that you enjoy, hopefully it will help. It certainly helps me. And it's certainly worth a try.

I look at the things that are going good in the world, if not my life. I also do something I enjoy. I volunteer because heping others makes me feel good about myself.
If all else fails I remember that there are others that are doing worst than me.
