It is true that when there is a recession, you can make much more money as at the moment with the foreclosures on homes that you can get lower than the market price & even if in recession there are still those who have money and looking for a bargin.
My online business is booming since the recession because everyone is looking for a way to make an income 4 life and I found it and I can't get over it that since the recession the people who sign in to this opportunity is amazing. Every morining when I get up, there is someone new on. I will be getting a real great% in my account this month and it will keep on rising.
And you can eat better too! Yesterday I went to a grocery store and bought 3 loaves of bread that usually cost 4$..for 99 cents each and fresh not a day old bread.
I got my favorite mushrooms that cost me usually 5$..for 1.99, red onions for 1.99 and not a small bag either.
I also bought my cats favorite treat for 1.75 instead of 2.50
In all it cost me 13.75 ..amazing!
Every where I go I see the drop in prices and so I spend because I'm saving a lot of $$$$$$.
Usually what I bought would cost me 23$..what a huge saving..and get those coupons..clip coupons.
Also you want to save when you go to the gas pump. Well, don't pump the gas in fast..because when you do ..you cause a air pocket and get less gas. It might take longer to fill but you get truly the amount that you pay for. I have seen a great difference since I do that.
I also noticed that if I put gas line antifreeze..don't know why but I noticed I use less gas. Even if i don't fill up I usually put in a bottle and that is when I noticed that I was using less gas. Try it and let me know if it works for you.
I also got myself a video phone which I can plug on my computor and thus don't need a phoneline anymore as I can call practically anywhere free..so I cancelled my long distance plan and paying only 37$ a month taxes included and I can take my phone anywhere in the world and call home, receive calls..free for me and the caller.
I'm really taking advantage of the recession and I don't complain, I save all my change in a bottle which the top counts the money I put in so I know how much I'm saving.
I pay my credit card and send money in between the bill, which helps to lower the interest.
I unplug everything in the house that I don't use every second, like the microwave, toaster, nite lights, washer/dryer which take alot of electricity. If I could unplug my stove and fridge I would do it too..lol. I'm saving over 1000$ per year.
Now because of the recession I can get what I put on my Wish List.
So don't complain..what out for the bargins..they are fabulous!Any more ideas anyone?

Hey Feather,
Your really lucky. I live in Ireland a.k.a backwardland. everything here is going up. I went to my local supermarket and my normal groceries (milk, bread, butter, etc) was at least €2/$2.56 more then they were a month ago.
The national newpaper sent out a monthly comsumer index showing these prices and I cannot get over it.
We now have the highest number of people on social security payments then we have in the past 25 years.
I do agree that there are some areas that you can save money on such as telecommunications. I work for a cell phone network and we have noticed that our competition has become intense and we are slashing prices left, right and center. That is good for myself as most of my salary is made from commission.
As I have mentioned in previous discussions, I have literally frozen my credit card to stop me making payments. I hope that is some tip for you.
Hope to hear back from you soon.
Ken

I have to say I am impressed with the site. How long have you been on it and on average how much you making per month (If you dont mind me asking)
Also how much time do you find you are putting in to promoting said site.I would be interested in taking part but my fear is how to get people onto my downline.
Get back to me when you can.
Kind Regards,
Ken

I don't think a recession is a good time to make money in general, but it is a good time for those who have money to buy things.
Prices of things are cut down a lot these days.
