When it comes to ketchup is there only one specific brand of ketchup that you will buy?? some say certain ketchups are tangier than others. In my opinion it doesn't make a difference. My kids love ketchup and it doesn't matter what brand I get. Usually I will buy the store brand.

Our family likes Heinz the best. I've bought a few others occasionally over the years and we've noticed a difference. From now on, I'll only be buying Heinz!

I generally think name brand ketchups are alittle better, but I will get whatever I have to to save a few pennies. I like to have a bit of an assortment but I think that I will be able to use some name brands and some generics. Right now the ketchup I am using the most is generic. It is OK. I think it is Stokely.

hello shymurl
when it comes to a bottle of ketchup, any kind of ketchup will work for me. i am not picky with the different brands of ketchup. and store name brand of it is usually what that i purchase when i am grocery shopping but if i have a coupon on a brand name of ketchup then the grocery store sometimes will double a coupon up to a certain amount then i will purchase the brand name of the ketchup. i am a bargain hunter on items like ketchup at the grocery stores.
take care and have a beautiful evening.

I'm not brand picky at all - I buy what I can get the best deal on. With seven of us in this household, I need to make every penny count. Nine times out of ten, when we go to a restaurant, no one has any idea what brand is in that red squeeze bottle and I hear no complaints about how it tastes. So, I get what I get. LOL

I really do not take in much ketchup, only on fries, but I do not eat fries very often. Sometimes I will make cocktail sauce with the stuff though. But as for the brand of ketchup, it does not really matter to me, ketchup tastes like ketchup, I really cannot remember a time where I actually have tasted a difference between two different kinds of ketchups. But for some reason the cheap stuff "tastes" better haha. I can't tell you what brand I have in my fridge, I barely touch it to know.

Hi, yes I favor a certain brand of ketchup. Even my grandfather had to have a certain brand and he went to the store because my grandmother bought the wrong kind and he ended up getting a speeding ticket going to the store but he got his favorite brand.

Heinz is good, I would say 4-star but the alltime 5-star winner is called Allgold from SA and it is awesome! Such a real thick tomatoey taste. When I was overseas, I craved it so badly.

I am not picky about buying a brand of ketchup.I love the taste of ketchup.I don't love the hot chilly ketchup taste.Ketchup is good to eat with sandwiches and eggs.It is also good here to eat with samsosa or potato items.Pizzas and burgers also taste good with ketchup.

I'm not a big fan of ketchup so it really doesn't matter to me. I usually buy Hunts but only because it is a little cheaper. I have bought some that seem a littel watery to me but for as much as I eat it wouldn't matter.
