fruit and vegetable wash

I was just wondering if anyone has ever tried the Fit fruit and vegetable wash before and what was your experience? Is it really worth buying? Did you feel that the fruit was cleaner than just washing with water? Does the fruit taste better after using the wash? I've never used it but am considering buying some. I have been coming more aware over the years of the pesticides in foods and have been buying more organic. Since organic fruit/veggies can be more expensive,I was considering the wash as a cheaper alternative.

Fruit wash does work but I think adding salt or baking soda to the water when you wash fruits and vegetables works just as well.

I have never tried the fruit & vegetable wash before but I've seen it in stores. I have wondered about it too but I figure, at least for now, I've lived this long without it and I really don't have the extra money to spend on something like that. I also wonder what is in it and is that bad for us too? Who knows... but, I think I'll stick with plain ole water for now. Take care & let us know if you end up trying it and what you think of it.
