Your time will come. I got little to no sleep being a single parent of 4 kids, the last 2 were twins.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be taking a nap when I get home from work today... mhmmm... My ferret loves it when I take naps because I let him sleep next to me - he doesn't have a fellow ferret to keep him company, so he likes having something to cuddle with :)
(By the way, if a random picture of me skydiving pops up, please ignore it... myLot is being... interesting.)

I doubt I will ever jump from a plane. But a ferret may be a pet I would get, that is if I have no cats. My cats would probably not like it.

I have a cat right now (soon to be two because I'm getting my sister a kitten for Christmas) - he acts annoyed with the ferret sometimes, but other times he'll actually play with him! My pets are very "close"... haha... I catch the dog and cat cuddling - and I've even caught my cat petting my dog several times before!

When I was pregnant I loved my naptime. I could have slept on a bed of rocks....didn't matter to me.

I dont make a point of it but lately I have been falling asleep while watching TV. My average night's sleep is 5 hours. I hate sleeping because it's a waste of time. Do you realize if one get's the 8 hours of sleep a day that is recommended he has passed one third of his life with his eyes closed. I hate sleeping......

I like to go to bed at around 11 and wake at 7:30-8. If I get less I am drained.

i cant sleep at nighttime ..usually up till 10 am or so from the day before..so what everyone else calls a nap is usually my *sleep*
yeah i agree naps are good for us because all you have to do is ask someone who can not sleep...its misery ...on house one night i actually seen then talking about not being able to sleep could kill you..that kinda scared me ..would love to know if thats true or just tv ..

I am not sure, but if you think about it, your heart is overworked and stressed and that isn't a good thing

I love naps. When my grandson gets cranky I tell him that I will lay down with him. Yea for me!

I would never be able to take a nap that late in the day. I suppose if you are staying up later that would be okay. But I am up early in the morning and napping late in the day would through me way off.

i sometimes take a nap when i get home from work - my work day is 7AM-3:30AM so i get home before my boyfriend does so it works out well. although i feel groggy for the rest of the night after i wake up...

I'd love to be able to take a nap, but I just can't do it. When I nap, it turns into a full blown sleep. I just can't wake up. I'll mean to just sleep for a few minutes and wake up 4 or 5 hours later and even then I have trouble waking up.

Sounds like my daughter. She would sleep all day if she were to lay down for a 30 minute nap.

When my twins were babies I took a nap whenever they did. It was the only time I could sleep.

I always feel so much better after a nap of about 20 minutes. I really think it's great for you body. I try to take a short nap each day whenever I can. I think anything longer interferes with my ability to sleep at night.

When I worked at the local high school my kids were home before me. I got home at 3:45. I sat on the couch, turned on Oprah, watched the first 15 minutes of it, fell asleep for 20 and woke to watch the last of the show. I called it my Oprah Power Nap.

I usually only nap when I am not feeling well. If I have a cold or a severe headache it helps to close my eyes for a little while, if only to close my eyes and lay down. I try not to sleep longer than 30 minutes, otherwise I have that nap foggy-headedness going on.
