Disrespecting your parents

What is something that you regularly do, that you try to NOT do around your parents when you're around them - in order to not be disrespectful? (I know that's a confusing one, sorry!) Personally, I avoid swearing around my parents - as for some reason this makes me extremely uncomfortable. What about you? What do you consider to be "disrespecting" your parents? And if you DO avoid doing certain things around your parents, is it because they've specifically asked you to? Or is it because you assume they would be ashamed or upset with you if they realized you do such a thing?

Just staying away from swearing and do something illegal is the best way to keep my parents not upset with me, ha. Other than that, my parents are really cool with most stuff, and as long as I talk to them about whats going on so they aren't ignorant about what I'm going to be up to, they are cool.

It sounds nice to have that kind of open relationship with your parents. I'm totally jealous. :) Thanks for answering!

1. you waste your own life, you waste more of their's 2. you hurt them by any means 3. you bring shame or disgrace to the family I got all of them, and the atonement is my lifetime punishment. So avoid those 3 things above and respect them.^_^
