They're making what???

My husband is a chronic shopper / hoarder. He files it under "collecting". I figure it's worse than collecting if you don't have room for stuff anymore, but I digress.
One of his areas of collecting is Star Wars. Well, he just happily showed me a new SW collectible coming out in March.... MARBLES. Yes, marbles! Each one features a character inside, with it's own collectible base.
REALLY? You HAVE to be kidding me! Please oh please I hope another money hemorrhage doesn't start with these.
Are you obsessive about a hobby?
Do you determine that it is time to get a new home when you can't store your collection in your current house?

I collect baseball cards. However there was a time when I was buying all sorts of junk that was baseball related. Believe it or not back in the early 90s they had marbles with baseball players in them. I have since stopped with all the pictures, photos, figures and oddball stuff and just do the cards. It can be expensive and consuming trying to collect everything unless he focuses on just one character.

Mmmmm, yeah, well, his idea of "focusing" is cutting out cheap stuff and buying more expensive stuff! He'll say "I'm TRYING to cut back... I quit buying such-and-such" and I'll point out he's spending JUST as much on fewer things, LOL.
