Does God Responds To All Christian Religions?

There are so many religions nowadays that say they are the true church. Each uses same bible, and believes in God and Jesus Christ. Most of them claim that true God is found in their church and not in other denominations. There may be some religions with different way of worshiping but I believe all these various religions follow the fundamental laws of God as Christ taught that 'we must love our neighbors the way we love ourselves and to love God with all your heart. Does God listen to our prayers regardless of our religion even we are following Christ's fundamental law?

Whether or not God respond to your prayer is secondary, the first thing is if at all God exists. Many might have claimed to have seen God but there is no proof of that. Now say for example Jesus Christ. Except once He never said himself God or representative of God. He, undoubtedly tried to spread the message of peace and harmony and universal brotherhood but never said this church is where God is available. All these are men made if we are the creation of God it must be one God only. In such context Hinduism, Mohammad ism, Judaism, Christianity and all other different branches of religion is meaningless. So far God listening to your prayer in a particular place also is invalid as this contradicts with the concept of God that He is omnipotent and omnipresent and omniscient. To resolve this discussion lets agree if at all God exists He is everywhere and one can pray or worship him anywhere regardless to any sacred place like Temple or Church.

What is so complicated about understanding God? Why do we have to take so much effort to accept that God really does exist. There's no point on resolving it, because no matter how intelligent you are or how good you are at explaining anything, there is a God who created in the beginning and is continuously watching us over the years.

Hi friend! you may be correct. Though personally I do not believe in any religion still sometime whenever I look at the sky and think of the endlessness of the universe feel, there must be some power that is regulating all this phenomenons. You are correct about Jesus Christ. thank you...

God listen to all people not and individual. The Religions are build in the word from the bible that saying "if two man talking about me I am there in the middle" that is the basic foundation of religion. They say that there is only one God, but I can say that there is many God. God name is God no other than, those who seek the name of God to save them they will end up empty handed. God is our supreme goodness. Your God maybe not may God because the God that you believe in maybe not the God that I believe in so I can say that there is but not are many God. Some people or religion say that God is loving, forgiving and compassionate, but there are some said that God will punish you if you don't obey the rules, so who is your God between the two? God that you have is the God that you believe at. Abraham believe that God is compassionate, rewarding and forgiving, he believes that his God is kind and he can communicate with him by song and dance and that's his God. Not by religion or some kind of rituals or giving 10% of your money with him in order for God to listen and save you. But some people say it is and so it was. Now you can answer your question, does God respond to all Cristian Religion. or does God respond to your prayers? There is only one God, the God that you believe in.

You have a point there that when two or more people gather in His name, He is there among them. I think there are no difference when people say God is loving or hostile because God could be both. I don't think those people believe that there God is limited to just being loving or punishing. But I believe that God is more than loving than punishing because He has reiterated through his prophets the importance of 'forgiving' and 'loving your enemies' in the bible. I think the problem lies on people who focus only on one side of God's nature, the loving Father or the disciplinarian authority. God is more loving than punishing because He so loved the world, He sent His Son so that ALL men may be saved.

Matthew 7:21 says "Not everyone saying to me, Lord, will enter the kingdom of the heavens...." meaning not all who profess to be Christians are true. Do not just believe when someone says his religion is the true one. You have to examine it by yourself: Do they practice what they teach?

Thanks he_deeoo for sharing that verse. You're right, we should examine if they practice what they teach.

god responds to anybody who worships him in truth and spirit not minding the church you attend. the church is just a gathering of people with different heart desires and mind state so when you worship him from the depths of your heart, he always responds. you can be in your house without going to church and he responds to you. so the most important thing is the heart that servers him and not the church because the church is not a guarantee to salvation....

indeed God looks at the heart of men, its desires and the fruit it bears.

God is only with those who practice true faith in him and his teachings. "This means everlasting life, your taking in accurate knowledge of him, and the one he sent forth Jesus Christ" There are many so called Christian religions that only teach part of the truth, and so are happy to kill eachother beleiving that God is on their side. There are many other examples like this that move people outside Gods protection. Through our own actions and those of the leaders of certain religions, they remove themselves from God's listening ear. On the other hand, if you truly follow all of his commandments then I don't see why God would not listen to your prayer, as long as you are praying correctly, i.e doing so through Jesus as we are commanded to do.

I truly feel sad of those religions who kill thinking that there God will honor them. I wonder if they accept Christ's teaching 'to love your enemies and pray (not kill) for them that persecute you.
