I rarely buy clothes every month. I shop only twice a year or maybe thrice a year. I prefer to buy only few clothes because before I used to buy always but some of my clothes are useless or can be used only sometimes. It's only a waste of money if I will buy clothes monthly.

Hi.....although I work from home, I seldom buy clothes and so does my husband. He does not stop me from buying but with the clothes that I have in the cupboard I think it is enough to last me my whole life time . We did not even buy any new clothes for the recent Chinese New Year as there was not a need to. One tip is we can always mix and match our clothes and create something new

I work and so does my husband. He doesn't tell me when I can buy things and when I can't. Usually i buy about 3 pieces of clothing a month. But I only buy sale items and I shop around online. Then I can go for months without buying anything. So it just depends.

The only clothes I bought this winter was long johns and thick socks. I needed them to stay warm. I haven't bought any outer clothes since last year. I don't need any.

I'm a housewife as well, and I don't purchase a lot of clothes for myself. I pick up a t-shirt here and there, or if something catches my eye, but I don't set out to do any clothes shopping. At home I mostly wear a t-shirt with some sort of pajama bottoms (I like to be comfortable), so my good clothes don't wear out very often. They usually go out of style before I end up wearing them two or three times.

hmmm i buy clothes atleast 4 or 5 in a month.. and likewise for my kids.. except for my husband coz his stuffs are so expensive.. so if i buy things for him i make it sure for that month i wont buy anything for myself and my kids.. hehehe so that i would still be in budget.. :)

Well, I work so hard to get my own money and I could spend as time as I can but I have two small children and they need more than I need, so I dont really spend on clothing that much. Clothes are not that important to me, as long as my children have food to eat and everything they need. Due to economy is bad, I would keep my money for saving and buy something that is necessary.

I know how you feel.
Though i'm a student that is. MY finances are also quite limited to how much i save (which isn't much) and how much my parents give me in extra.
So, i don't really have a habit of buying clothes everytime i step out of the house. But if i do catch a store having a cheap sale (within my budget) i'd buy till my heart's content. So it's really not fixed. Meaning this month, i can don't buy any clothes. NExt month perhaps i chanced upon a store havign Sale.
