You earn from mylot by posting. Posting means you start a discussion or responding to discussions started by other members, may it be your friends or not. One cent per response but some say that longer or quality may vary how much mylot will give us. By starting a discussion, your earnings vary on how your discussion is responded by other members. If your discussion gets more responses, you may earn more. I think, one cent per response is given to us as starters. mylot says that giving comments or replying to responses in our own discussions will not earn us a cent so why bother commenting if we have nothing to say to the responder and not just thanking them that they responded. I suggest you better read more about mylot in FAQs, TOC and Guidelines. Happy posting vonvonex...

Hello neildc,
what would you say if i tell you that i made over 50% of my earnings with commenting on my own discussions?
I guess misleading information isn't that good for new members 
.
Sure, if you have only the "Thanks for your response"-Sentence in your mind then it's a DON'T according to the guidelines, just be creative and answer according to your discussion and the given response at least with 3 additional sentences and the last can be a "Thank you" but i leave this thanking since many weeks.
The only thing that happens when you comment on your own discussion is that you don't get an additional point but some nice earnings at the end of the day

..sure.. you earn by posting discussions and responding to other's posts.. you don't need to respond to people who responded your post to earn if you don't feel like not responding.. it's fine.. Happy mylotting..

Hi there von, well, life is very easy here on mylot. We're like business man here, doing the same thing. We all benefit on what we are doing. When you post a discussion and when I respond to it, we both earn on that. You got my response as your earning and so am I on responding on your discussion as simple as that. But that's not the only way to earn a lot here my friend. Remember, you MUST post at least 3-5 sentences long (responses) so you can earn more than 0.01 cents/post.. Try not to focus only in posting responses/discussions but uploading pictures too on different interest you are in to. And the best of all, refer your friends and earn revenue from them..encourage them to earn and you will both benefit from it. Keep up the good work and keep on posting. Best luck!

I don't think we earn for starting a discussion
.If we start a quality discussion then we have chances of earning.Yes you get money for responding to other people's discussion and commenting on it.It is not recommended to respond to each and every response.If someone is trying to ask a question then you must respond to it.
