In a relationship, do you mind your bf or gf is a foreigner?

Hello,i am a chinese girl and i was in a relationship with some guys from other countries.Actually i don't really care where he comes from,it's not so important when you fall in love with someone.but sometimes we felt really weird when being together,like some topics we can't talk much...we had so many arguments with some little things which makes me kinda sad

I am an American and my gf is filippino, we have a long distance relationship right now and we only get to talk once or twice a week, but to me it really doesnt matter where she is from. I love her for who she is not her nationality. There may at times be somethings that we wont be able to talk about, but she is pretty well up to speed about things happening in America so we can talk about a lot of things.

wow really? i have a friend he's american too,and his gf is japanese. Long distance relationship is really cool but is not easy to handle.esp when u guys are so far away from each other,but i think you're right. if you really love her so where she comes from is not the matter :) im happy for ya,friend :D

lol.it is very interesting.if you love one another,i think you can also be happy.though we have diferent culture,you can know about his country culture and he can also know about our country culture.lol.^^we should understand each other.

You think is interesting? wow,haha i didn't realize it,lol well,in some parts i can say that,but it's just really different to run a relationship with someone who doesn't know about your culture,or may be he doesn't want to know.haha whatever :)

i dont have any foreign bf because i am married to the same country but i have a cousins do deal in a relationship to the foreigner but they have succeeded to get married because it is a lot of understanding and respect to make it worthy in the relationships they are entering for.

..for me, yes.. because there are cultures in other countries which are very much different from our country.. especially when it comes to handling money.. and according to research, money is one of the most reasons why families nowadays are breaking apart.. It is very hard to adopt to the culture of other countries..

it is the understanding that matters to have a good relationship no matter who you are and what you speak if there is love you will have the strength to bear one another and everything will be fine.

No, actually i don't mind if he is a foreigner or not as long as he can respect my culture, my family and where i grew up. =) Understanding comes along with the relationship. If he really loves my then acceptance comes in. =)

Well, all that matters is if you guys get along. Nothing else matters.
There have been black people marrying white people, muslims marrying christians, people have got through all kinds of problems related to caste, creed, religion, language and these are no longer a barrier for a relationship. Compared to that, countries should be nothing.
I personally like many of my online friends, and truthfully would get along well in a relationship if it comes to that, and except for the distance, nothings wrong.
