How something remind you of someone?

Things go on the way every time there's a celebration, special occasion like birthdays, anniversaries, valentines, Christmas, New year, and many more to have as gifts for our friends, love ones, teachers, supervisors, managers, and so on... But there's one thing that we like the most when we gave that to someone... let's say you have given alot of things but there's only one that can remind you of that person.. his/her reactions when you gave that to him/her makes you smile whenever you see that kind of thing again somewhere else because it reminds you of him/her the way he accepted that gift.. But of course, not all the times.. coz let's you part ways.. so in that case, you will not frown of course, but that will make you feel sad seeing that thing.. In my case, I have given a special thing to my husband that makes me smile every time I see it.. It's a T-shirt.. whenever I look at him wearing that, I can recall on how hard it was that time looking for a nice shirt to give him..
