You have several question and I will answer it one by one... 1.Virus is a destructive program, written by programers to create damage to data stored in our computer. These codes are very difficult to code and these are created by programmer with great programming skills, 2.Yes,we can prevent virus from entering our pc or laptop or any other computing device,by just installing the antivirus softwares 3.If you have virus in you computer, you just have to scan your system with anti virus software and delete the found virus 4.No,mostly viruses affect only the software it cannot affect the hardware directly...

I wish to draw your attention to the fact that there are viruses that affect hardware also. They corrupt the boot prom and memory device. Though there are very rare and subject to many prior condition before they can infect hardware.

What ever shape, color, type the Virus is, it is dangerous. In Computing, Virus is very dangerous for Pc or Mac. It damages the file, it can disturb the whole system, it can erase your data , consume PC's resources to make it run very slow and it does much more things than these.

Viruses are code written in programming languages to destroy systems. If you learn how to program, you'll surely know how to write viruses. Viruses doesn't just affect computer systems alone, they affect all digital devices that has the ability to store data. Viruses can be useful sometimes, though. I can actually write a virus that will copy all the files on your P.C. and send it to mine immediately you logon to the internet, and then, all your files will be deleted afterwards. It's quite fun!...

A computer virus is a software program capable of reproducing itself and usually capable of causing great harm to files or other programs on the same computer. It has been named as a virus since it is as harmful for the computer as biologic viruses are for human body. Viruses can enter your system in many ways, the primary one being Internet. Other media are Flash drives and all kind of other removable media are capable of carrying viruses into your system. The best way to fight a viral attach is to install a good anti virus program. Also, do not execute any unknown file or any suspicious file. Most of the viruses infect only the software. But some viruses like the Boot Viruses are capable of damaging the hardware as well, primarily attacking on the memory devices.
