Just saw a commercial for Circuit City for its going of business sale. How many of you would purchase electronics from a store closing? What happens if you get it home and there is a problem, you can not return it. You have to contact the manufactor about it and then find out what they want you do. To me it is a big gamble, yes you are getting a deal but taking a chance. I have no problems buying clothes, linens and other things, but electronics just seems to risky to me.

You make a very good point.
I agree with you completely.
I would definitely not purchase electronics from a store that was closing.

I won't mind buying even electronic goods from a store that is about to close provided, the good I purchase is of a good brand and the warranty/guarantee I get along with it can be reimbursed at any of the vendors of the product brand. In fact the closing stores often offer great deal of discounts.
I happened to come through a similar cloth store that was about to close and I got branded cloths for me at 50% discount!
