Do you take sugar in your tea?

My husband just made me a cup of hot tea. We have been together for 8+ years, you'd think he would remember that I don't take sugar in my tea.

Yeah, the beauty of sharing your life is.....allowing those slips. A husband who makes tea & is there to serve it is great. He may forget again someday but I'd say it'll be awhile. Glad you care enough to wonder why he isn't attuned to your favorites. After all...we are not all perfect hosts....let's hope he has nurtuing you in other ways down to an art.

Hubby may forget that I don't take sugar in my tea, but makes up for it in other ways. He is truly an attentive husband.

I am sweet enough too, that is what I tell everybody that is. I do have times when I am a little on the bitter side. : )

Hmm, maybe he doesn't make many cups of tea for you?! Yes, I take sugar in my tea but it has to be unrefined sugar - I know straight away if it's that white stuff - yuck! - or even worse, sweeteners!

Actually he doesn't make me tea very often. He does make my coffee for me. He knows how I like my coffee.

There is NO WAY I could drink tea without sugar. But my husband can. He sometimes forgets too and we have been together for over 16 yrs! I think they just have short term memories. LOL

I am from the south! So, needless to say I LOVE sugar in my tea. Better yet I should say that I like a little tea with my sugar b/c I like it really sweet.

I miss living in the South....Atlanta was my sweetest experience even 'tho my marriage there lasted 2 months. Loved the songbirds. Picking dewberries & pokesalad in the city was special. People in the 70's were more easily trusted...gone is the freedom to explore.
