We need friends

We need friends because we are social beings, not by choice but by nature. It is unnatural to live sealed off from the rest of man. Put a man in a solitary confinement too long and he will go mad. What do you think?

Yup, we do need our friends to comfort us, help us and make us feel we are not alonge. We cannot make it if without them.

I agree, and I friend tells us we do not have to be anything other than what we really are. As we experience acceptance in a friendship, we come to know that someone sees value in us. Being valued by someone who counts is the first step toward valuing oneself.
