Tom & Jerry

This is funny to me...I too love cartoons! Tom & Jerry is one of my favorites. My kids aren't real big on cartoons and think it's hilarious when they come into the family room and see me watching. My little one only likes Scooby Doo and the 2 older ones would rather read than watch anything animated. I guess that's a good thing...lol What they really hate is when any of the holidays roll around and I watch the cartoony shows that I've watched since I was a kid. They say...Ah, mom...come on...again?? LOL I guess they're not too fond of the "old" graphics. Charlie Brown, Rudolph, Frosty, Nester the Long Eared Donkey...LOVE 'em!

I have a problem with Tom and Jerry. They are so violent. I run a daycare and we watch tv for 30 minutes during the day right before nap time. It is just during the transition time when kids are finished with their lunch and waiting their turn in the bathroom. The one boy I babysit always asks to WAtch Tom and Jerry. The first day I said no, but then asked their parents because I really wouldn't like my child to watch it. All the parents said that their kids watch it at home, so now that is their one show here. They all love it! I guess the old classics were good enough for us to watch while growing up, so it can't hurt them now.

Ahhw that is sooo sweet =).I used to watch that cartoon too.That's a legendary cartoon which means it's for all ages.And just as you said,doesn't matter how old you are,and even if it get's repetative,it is still funny and even if you get bored you can't seem to lay of your eyes of it.My favourite episode is when jerry wrotes a letter to Tom that he is going to the city and he will never come back,but he realises that city is too crowded so he gets back all happy to see Tom again even if they don't like eachother very much.I don't know which channel do they play it on,but i used to watchit on Cartoon Network.There are few simmilar viral cartoons like the Simpsons,Donald duck or Race Bird thingy(I can't seem to remember really :)) So that's it for now.Keep watching!
