I do believe in love at first sight. I mean you can love some when you meet them and start talking to them. I fell in love with my ex when I first saw him, but I was also talking to him for a few weeks before we met, and then my current boyfriend I love deeply. We expressed our love on the first date, but actually spent weeks talking before we went out.

Well, whenever I see a smart and beautiful girl, I feel like I love her (Love at First Sight). But this is not the case. Love at first sight for me is mere an attraction or crush. I will consider it as the first step on the ladder that leads towards true love. Most of the times we find the next step of the ladder broken ie the person we think we started loving seeing for the first time, proves out not to be of our type or the two simply do not look to be made for each other stuff. Love at first sight is the attraction (or love for somebody), which arises due to the physical appearance of the other person. But in reality, we love somebody not just for the looks or appearance, but for the person within. Those who find their soul mates in the person they liked at the first sight, I will call them very lucky in love. Have a look, what wikipedia has to say about Love at first sight: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Love_at_first_sight

I agree. It is not love. It is infatuation or lust maybe. Love does come over time and true love is unconditional. When you first meet someone its you are physically attracted not emotionally. You just met them, you don't know them yet. All good things take time to happen. But that is the fun part of it, learning about each other. :)

Definitely infatuation at first sight, NEVER love at first sight. True love is something that happens over time. When you first see someone you just don't know enough about them to be in love with them. You may feel madly attracted to them and that feeling can be so strong it can be mistaken for love. But this is not love this is infatuation. This does not mean that infatuation cannot turn into love. I have met people or even seen a photo of someone that made me think "WOW" and I found over the next few days i could not stop thinking about that person but as much as I would like to call it love, experience has taught me love is something deeper that evolves over time.
