I have decided to go back to school. I want to do graphic design. I have 3 options Digital design diploma. Associates Degree and Bachelors degree. Which one would be best and what would it mean as far as income and job differences in the 3?

I don't know what a Digital Design diploma is either - it sounds like a trade/vocational school degree, though. Personally? I feel like the one that's looked most highly upon is a bachelors degree. Bachelor degrees usually take 120 credits and about four years to complete, and in most scenarios, you can't do this at a 2-year trade or community college. (If you want to pursue a bachelors degree, you would have to either go to a four-year college or transfer after your two years are up at a community college). Associate degrees, to my knowledge, usually take 12 months to 2 years depending on the school and your courseload. From what I know, the more education you have: the more "qualified" you are in employer's eyes, and therefore you'll most likely receive a better job offer, which makes you more money, ultimately. But this totally depends on the job and the company you're trying to work with. Can you talk to your advisor about it? Or perhaps, if you are only getting a degree to advance your career at a certain company - maybe you could talk to the Human Resource (HR) department, to see what degree will qualify you for whatever position you're looking to attain? Personally, I would go with the Bachelors degree - but it takes twice as long, and twice as much tuiton $$. :/ Good luck with whatever you choose to do!

I don't really know what a digital design diploma is. I know that associates comes before bachelors degree though. I am going for a bachelor's degree in computer programming right now. A bachelor's degree takes longer and is higher up than a associates degree. It goes Associates, Bachelors, Masters. With a bachelor's degree you will know more than a associates degree. It's going to take me about 5 years to get my bachelors degree. You could always go for the associates degree and later on go for a bachelors degree. It probably all depends on what you want and you as to what you should go for. Most of the time though people with bachelor's degree make more money than with associates degree. Before I decided what degree I wanted to do, I searched online for what other programmers had. I searched for what qualifications and degrees I would probably need. You could also discuss this with someone at the college you are going to. Here is a site that might help you: http://www.bls.gov/oco/ocos090.htm Best of luck to you!
