This is one of the reasons why I don't go to sleep until I am good and tired. I hate just laying in bed with my mind racing. It takes me forever to fall asleep this way.

yes, you're right.....it happens to me too......i think our mind just keeps working and working...
some times it becomes difficult to sleep if we have something going on in our mind..........and most of the times, i wake up thinking about the same thing about which i was thinking at night......its as if i had to give a break to it...and now, continuing the thought process....it sounds so funny, but, it does happen.
Have a nice day,,,:-)

Yes I agree to the fullest. I love writing and sometimes I have a lot of ideas roaming my mind preventing me from sleeping. Or not just writing ideas, just a lot of thoughts about different things I've observed through the day or recently. I try to draw a blank and drift away to sleep, but it doesn't always work.

yes i do have a difficult time to sleep even if i didnt take a short nap. Sometimes i think too much that my mind doesnt want to rest even if my eyes are paining already. They say that women think more than men. When you wanted to draw what was on mens mind, you will get an abstract painting, but for us women, wow, a picture perfect painting since were more detailed when it comes to this.

Yes, this happens to me a lot lately. I've been trying to fall asleep at a decent hour for a couple of months and failing miserably because my mind won't "shut off." Before, I'd be so exhausted that I'd fall asleep before my head hit the pillow! I have no idea why this is happening now. I write pages and pages in my journal to quiet these thoughts and, slowly but surely, it's working.
