My husband has been talking in his sleep a lot lately. I think it could be one of the medications he is on. He can talk pretty loud but its very hard to understand him. Sometimes he will talk in complete sentences. Does your spouse talk in there sleep or do you talk in your sleep.

I have to share this creepy story with other members. One night, many years ago when I was roughly 13 years old, I got out of my bed on the first floor of our house and began walking up the stairs...2 flights of them...My mom had stopped me on the way up and asked where I was going as this was strange..I had already gone to bed and there was a bathroom on the same floor as me. I told her that I had to go upstairs to my brothers room and sleep in the spare bed because a certain lady was coming for the night later on and would need my bed....This lady had a cottage near us miles away and had certainly never been to our home. My mom said she realized that I was not awake and did not want to startle me. She followed me up the stairs where i crawled peacefully into the spare bed.
A couple of hours later, my mom got a phone call from the lady I had referred to. She was very distraught as her husband had passed away and wanted to come spend the night..and she did.
The next morning I awoke upstairs in the spare bed with no knowledge of how or why I was there...My mom told me what happened. HOw creepy that I was able to know what was going to happen before it did...and to walk in my sleep up 2 flights of stairs!!!

When I was younger i would talk in my sleep. My sister even told me that I hit her when I was sleeping. I came up to her and hit her then smiled at her and one of my classmates back in high school told me that I talked while I sleep when we had our overnight at our school.

My partner talks in her sleep alot, I find it very funny. Two classic ones, were one time she said "Come on lads we are going to war" and the other time she was babbling on about Oranges. When I asked her about it the next day she had no recollection of any of it.

My husband will talk in his sleep and the funny thing is it is his work, he will be talking about what needs to be done to the room that he is working on at the time, as he is in carpentry/construction and remodeling and he will be talking up a storm about the wall size, or the shower and what needs to be done...LOL, it is so funny...poor guy cant get away from work even in his sleep!!
and now, my son who is 5 is starting to talk in his sleep too... the funny thing is he will mumble and start laughing, I am not sure what he is saying but he is having a good time!! LMAO...
have a great day!

I know that my husband talks in his sleep once in a while, but I can never understand what he is saying. He insists that I talk in my sleep frequently. I can't deny that as a couple of times when he has awakened me to tell me to stop hollering, I do remember why I was hollering. I was dreaming that some men were chasing me to do me harm. I was relieved that he had awakened me.

hi there,
i do not know anyone who talks in sleep....though i have heard that it happens to many.
well, some people do so from their childhood, and they are used to it,......but some people do this because of tensions, some particular medicines, etc........and in this case its the second reason........and obviously, it does not seem to be good sign......do take care....:-)
have a nice day.

I have been told that I talk in my sleep but I have never noticed... I mean it have never woken me up. I know that I move a lot in my sleep. I kick my covers off and that really sucks because my bed is lofted. So I sleep like 6 feet in the air!

My father and my brother sleep talk a lot and it's a bit funny when I hear them 'cause they're talking about things unconsciously. It also made me think that it runs in the family which makes me wonder if I sleep talk, too. I guess it's related to other sleeping disorder. You should ask your husband's doctor about it if you're really concerned.
