Are you upset about the delay of Sims 3?

I know I am. EA shouldn't have put the release date in February if they knew they were going to delay the game until June 2nd. Also I'm not happy about having to have internet in order to play the game. I have internet, but I don't think that's fair to players who don't have it on their computer.

What? I hadn't heard that they had pushed the date back. I have already reserved my copy of Sims 3 and I was anticipating being able to play it on the 20th? I hope this isn't true. I am an avid sims player and I'm practically addicted to the game. I've been looking forward to this for a while. I wonder why they would push it back so far?

Yep, it's true. Supposedly the pushed the date back so they (EA) would have time to market the game, and then I've also heard that it's too fix a lot of bugs. So maybe both is true, lol.

I was very upset about the delay. I actually went into the store the day that the game was supposed to be released in hopes of getting the game with my husband and for only the sales person to tell me that it wasn't in yet and that it wouldn't be out until june 2nd. I couldn't believe it. Wow, now that is new to me that you have to have internet access to play the game, but I would definitely have to agree with you that it would be totally unfair to those people who don't have internet access and won't be able to play the game. I so hope that is not true. If so, there will be lots of people who probably won't be able to play the game and they were just like us in hopes and waiting for the game to come out.

I didn't know they pushed the release date of The Sims 3 back. I wonder if they feel like now is a bad time to do it with the economy the way it is and everything. Personally, I won't be buying The Sims 3. At least I won't be buying it at this time. I love The Sims 2 and have no interest in the third one really. I think the game will be too heavy for certain computers, especially my system. I still have so many things to discover with The Sims 2 to really worry about the new one.

sims 3 - I look forward to playing sims 3
Yes. As the Sims is my favorite game and I have already had Sims 1 and 2 at home. I like to have Sims 3 if it's available. It is a great game and I am not sure what's the improvement of Sims 3 yet. I look forward to it so much. I love China

Yes this is very bad news that it has been delayed for that long and even worse, you have to connect to the internet when you want to play The Sims 3.

Wow I hadn't heard about the delay. That is upsetting. I was looking forward to the release. I had heard the release date was in March, not February though. I have internet, but I agree that it is unfair.

I didn't know that you had to have the internet to play the new game, that seems very unfair. Even if you have the internet, there are lots of times when it's not working properly. Also, as you say, many people don't have the internet.
