Hi greenline. Nice to see you again. I have been in Corcovado, Pão de Açúcar and Serra da Canastra. The two first are well known in Rio de Janeiro. Serra da Canastra is in Minas Gerais and is beautiful with forest and some waterfalls.
Have a good day friend.

I have climbed some less famous mountains, one in Norway, one in Australia and one in New Zealand. In my travels I have seen the Swiss Alps covered in snow and that was a pretty sight. I have seen Cape Mountain on my recent trip to South Africa. I have seen Mount Cook in New Zealand.

Hi, of course i would say the Cordilleras here in the Philippines. You will find the Mt. Province there and Ifugao, where the famouse Banawe Rice Terraces are. It great to be walking up on those rice paddies. A lot of foreign tourists still go there, i think you have to see it when you visit the Philippines again. It is so amazing. Have a good day, my friend.

I've only been to the Rocky Mountains and Mount St. Helens. I remember when St. Helens erupted. We had ash falling from the sky all the way down to San Diego.

After St Helens blew it got dark outside from the ash falling, that was May 18th 1980. After it started getting dark in the morning/ afternoon I thought it might have erupted. It erupted again and the kids got out of school for a half day, the only time we ever got let go from school. When it snowed we never got a snow day, only one volcano day

I think I have only been to mountains once.
When I was fifteen I went to Europe for three weeks in the summer. While I was there I visited the Swiss & Austrian Alps. We stayed at a hotel in Austria where we could see the mountains from it and we also drove by them traveling from one country to the next.
