Not in a police line up or anything. LOL
I'm talking about being somewhere and thinking that you see someone that you know from another place.
Okay, once I went out of town for a concention and this boy that was a friend of the family said that he was going to go to the conventions as well. So one of the days of event I thought I saw him and walked up to him and greeted him like "oh you made it." My brother and cousins just stood there looking at me like I was crazy, not to mention the boy who was really thinking thoughts about me. Anyways my brother was like that is not who you think it is even though he looks like him. I just was so embarrased.
I tell people that story and they crack up. Have that ever happened to you?

I saw this girl at school who I thought was one of my friends, who just happens to be a dude. So I went up to her and kicked her in the knee. Then I started calling her names, because as odd as it may seem, that's how I greet my friend. So she flips out and starts yelling and crying and I said "Oh snap, I thought you were a friend of mine." And she goes "That's how you treat your friends!?" I called my friend and told him about it and we laughed and he told me I was an idiot. Good times, good times...

I get mystaken for other people a lot. I used to be a stage manager for my high school plays. It turns out I look like a girl who was usually the lead. It lead to some akward converstions especially since everyone knew both of us.

I cant say that has ever happened to me, but I have had the opposite. When someone comes up to you and starts talking to you like they are your best friend, and you recognize them but you dont know from where or even what their name is. So you plan along for a few minutes, then walk away and think to yourself "who the hell was that?!"
