after a long gap INDIA thrashed SRILANKA in lankan soil and won the series. but its not all over yet. all calculations are changed now in world cricket, in indian cricket. lets see....
1. india is now the no.2 team in the world
2. the 9-0 winning streak is the best shown by indians ever.
3. earlier gavasker n kapil, saurav, rahul and azhar had 8-0 winning record.
4. dhoni is the best captain now with more than 62% of winning record.
5. dhoni is the 1st indian captain to hv batting average of more than 50%.

Yes. He is getting better and better day by day. He is so cool under the most of the hot conditions. Even the commentators across the world seems to be unified about this matter. But he can remain so all the time. It is not just only one instance when we have heard this. This was quite evident when we saw yesterday. Even when Ishant Sharma was getting so much hit by Jayasuriya, he was so cool. And on the other hand you might have seen Dilshan. We was getting so nervous and losing hims temper on his fielders and bowlers when they were erring. When Fernando bowled wide after wide, this poor Dilshan was looking so disturbed. This clearly shows what Dhoni is made of.
See, Dhoni has faith in his bowlers too. Even when Ishant Sharma had conceded almost 17 runs in one of his overs, still he gave Sharma the last over of the Sri Lankan innings. And to all's surprise, Sharma gave away only and only 3 runs.
Great people aren't great for nothing.

Yes; India has been going great under Dhoni's captaincy . The team is highly charged and they have had some great wins . Hopefully;this momentum is sustained and India also wins against NewZealand at their home turf - which has proved to be tough even for the past Aussie Teams which were on their best .

Mahendra Singh Dhoni is the best thing that happened to Indian cricket. His mental balance,shrewd and cool headed tactics and above all his on and off the field behaviour with his players are some thing which Indian cricket has never witnessed. He's poised for new peaks of glory. As a tribute to him, i painted this picture of Dhoni in my favourite Adobe Photo shop. Have a look.

While I have great respect for Dhoni, I think that it is too early to tall. the great test of a captain is when he has an ordinary team playing a better one and still gives his team a chance of winning.
Ricky Ponting captained a team that won 14 straight and frankly I think his captaincy is appalling - but his team kept winning,because they had at least 5 match winners, who would always get them out of trouble.
The test for Dhoni will come when the champions within the team, Tendulkat, Sehwag, Laxman et al retire and that will come soon. Then we can measure Dhoni's captaincy truly
