I think it is India. Not seen the whole world, but reading at the conditions you listed, I think it should be India. We have so many languages (over 1000? if we include dialects). For races and ethnicity, we have all kinds. Religions is also another area where every religion is there. Regarding landscape and biodiversity, since India is big we have so much of diversity. We have snow in north, always warm and sunny climate in south, rainy in east, hilly and rugged region in the HImalayan range that stretches from North to North East. Last year one friend from Sri Lanka who's seen many parts of the world commented that India is 100 times more difficult to govern than US cos it's too diverse. Next, I think could be China.

My answer would also be India! I would say that for various reasons as India is diverse in various ways, and even more ways then I mentioned! India has 415 known living languages and this number could go above 500, these are distinctly different languages not including dialects. Dialects can take this number upto 1752 according to 2007 census and sub dialects will pull it up to more then 22000, again there are so many religions, every single world's religions are present in our country, about 10 major racial groups and more then 2500 different ethnic groups. India is one of the top 12 megabiodiverse countries in the world. India has all kind of geographic features from tropical desert to polar desert, India even has the world's third pole, equatorial climate to arctic! Lowest recorded temp in India is -61 degrees while highest is 57 degree celcius! India is easily the most diverse country in the world by a clear margin!

Excellent post, my friend. Even in term of political parties, I think we have more parties than most countries :-)

This is a great question. I am very interested in diversity awareness, respect and peace. My guess is that the United States is very diverse. After reading some responses to your question it also sounds like Australia, India, and Israel are also very diverse. I would also like to know in which very diverse country is there also the most equality and respect amongst the diversity?

I would definitely say that there is a lot of respect for diversity in USA. They treat everyone equally. It's the same case in India as our slogan is unity in diversity. In both these two countries diversity is greatly respected. South Africa also respects diversity to some extent and so does quite a few European countries. Brazil greatly respects diversity and so does Peru, Argentina, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea. These are few countries which respect diversity. If there are more I would love to know.

Australia is a huge country so it has different weather, like in Darwin and Cairns the climate is tropical with it being hot all year round, with a dry season and a wet season. Brisbane has a sub tropical climate. Sydney, Adelaide and Perth have hot summers and cool winters. Melbourne is known for it changeable weather and people joke that it can have four seasons in one day. Sadly bush fires can break out in the summer months and I have known these to happen in the States of New South Wales and Victoria. In the middle of Australia it desert like with hardly any rain. The people that live in Australia range from the aboriginals that have been there before the days of the settlers. The settlers included the convicts from the UK. Since then all sorts of people have migrated to Australia like those from Italy, Greece, New Zealand and Hong Kong. Some people I have met there were born in Australia and others moved there from overseas years ago. The aboriginals have such an interesting tradition and I have seen rock paintings that are amazing. I have met some of these people and heard their dream time stories. Many Australian people have a culture like mine and I fitted in with them really well. They are honest and friendly. The outdoor sort of lifestyle is popular given the agreeable climate. There are Italian and Greek influences in Melbourne which makes a lovely international atmosphere. Japanese language is learned in schools in Queensland and Australia has many business links with Japan. The landscape varies from desert in the middle like around Alice Springs. There are tropical beaches with palm trees in Northern Queensland. There are some places were it snows in winter and so for example is it possible to ski at the Snow Mountains. Tasmania would have stunning lakes and beautiful green hills. The land is dry in the summer around the southern states and territory. I love Australia and it is my second favorite country. Wow! It is so diverse.

I would guess that the US and England are. It's just a guess but we do have quite a large variety here.

Thanks for your reply man, I could take USA for sure as an answer but not England possibly, as it has diversity among people, but no biodiversity, or geographical or climatic diversity! Thanks for your reply, would love to know more!

Everywhere I went in jerusalem i never heard the same language or met the same ppl from the same country. It was extremely diverse.

Thanks for your response ratcliffe, you have proven that you have the diversity in nationalities! Lots of varieties of people but you haven't mentioned about the geographic, climatic, and other forms of diversities Israel has. The most diverse country in the world should have diversity in all the areas that has been mentioned in my post! It was really amazing to know about the types of different people Israel have but I think it lacks in geographical, climatic, biodiversity, religious and linguistic diversity! Correct me if I am wrong please!!! Thanks a lot!
