i think it's tough to regain the number one position by australia..most of the best batsman has retired ....i think a new bowler or a new batsman shoul come for them ,to make their way..it's really hard for them as india and south africa are in great touch..it's time for the other teams to prove their supremacy...happy myloting and have a nice day..

This is to show that whatever you do things do it in honesty. Australia didn't played their way up under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting they steal their way up. Now they are the laughing stock of the cricketing world. I predicted this and now I am seeing it. Stealing is wrong. All of the sides will beat them.

The mighty Aussies are relegated to 3rd position according to the new ICC rankings. Australia is still having that venom. Don't under estimate.Didn't India ascend to the 2nd position? similarly, soon Australia is going to come back with a bang.

which venom. Don't you see that there is a new part in Cricketing that when the umpire give out the batsman can refer to the third umpire to see if he is out for true. there is no more umpire to collect money and to give Australia wins that are not true.

It was expected earlier that when all good players will retire then Aussies team will be exposed and same thing happened after shane warne,Mcgrath and Gilchrist's retirement original strength of Ausies team is exposed, they were no longer the same mighty ,never say die attitude team.

For starters they have to rethink their selection policy. They either select too young & raw player like warner & tait ( first selection) or end up picking players in their thirties like hussey . Their team is filled with bits and pieces cricketers like white & david hussey. these players will not even find a place in srilankan or pakistani team. They also need to rein in thier players, Teamwork seems to only exist between smaller groups who hit the pub together.Every player in the their team is writing & promoting their own book. This is what keeps them busy in the off season. Rectifying all this will require a lot of effort. when your country is dominating world cricket for more than 10 years slackness is bound to set in. Same happened with the west-indies team of the past. I do not see Australia reclaiming the lost glory in atleast next 4-5 years. Certainly not under ponting or clarke.

I feel the pointing's men will bounce back and regain their top spot in this year, the only thing the australian board has to do is to bring back andrew symonds, i hope if he is back everything is back for them.so surely aussies will regain their spot.

No. Not anymore. They had lost there no. 1 spot long before they officially lost it. A number 1 side does not lose series after series. First they lost at home to India. Then came here in India to get humiliated. Here too they met with the same fate. Then they got so angry that they showed all there angre on New Zealand. The OZ defeated NZ then. But now it's like a revenge series for the New Zalanders. They have won two ODIs in a row. The Australians have now been defeated 5 times on the trot. That's good news. Right? Now the New Zealanders need just a match to win the series. And I hope with them in such a form with Ross Taylor too coming good, I don't think, that is too a difficult task for them now.
