I think kids need the social interaction with other children. Most people home school for religious reasons but there are good christian schools that you can put your kids in. But I do think if you choose to home school that you should join a home school group that goes on activities and field trips and such.

I think it depends on the child, the parents and the situation. I don't think there is a black and white answer to this. If the parents don't have the education or materials to adequetely educate their child/children, than home schooling should not be done.

I dont really believe in the home schooling thing. Children need to learn how to socialize with other children. My children probably wouldnt learn a whole lot from being home schooled. They look forward to going to school and being with their friends.

I homeschool my daughter. It was the right choice for us but it is not the right choice for everyone.

I think if it's done correctly it can be well done and help the child. Most who do it correctly do arrange with others who homeschool so that the kids can interact with each other. I personally don't have the patients to try and home school otherwise I would due to how unhappy I am with the school system here. Still it takes a lot from both the parent and the child. I think it takes more then I have to be able to do it.
