pls help me how to make a story about man's searching for meaning

My classmates and I are going to make a movie about man's search for meaning by viktor Frankl. there are 3 components in the topic, the meaning of life, the meaning of love, and the meaning of suffering. How can i make a story by combining those 3 components? can anyone help me please. I need to make a script soon. thanks alot friends!

Maybe something like what we want from life:good health,money,family. Finding someone we love. Then losing it all.

hmm. let the main man have all that he wants in life and wastes it. then it all goes to his bestfriend *which is the other man*

This is difficult. How about something like a boy grows up in a village and sees all the things he wants around him - families with children,people with their own land etc., then meets girl, has a family, then there is a fire which burns everything down.It could be set in the 1500s or sometime long ago.
