Are you closer with your mother or father?

I think I am closer to my father, though I can talk more freely to my mother. My father and I are very much alike in regards to mood and temperment. We see things the same and usually have the same opinions. With my mother, though, if I need advise on my personal life, I am more comfortable going to her for it, than my father.
