Hi Myloters,
I know that these are tough economic times and that some of my Mylot friends might be out of work, but i just want to warn some of you who might be seeking "Work at home jobs" ON THE INTERNET, to be very careful when signing up with these companies offering these large salaries from home.Make sure you can access the company's personnel easily and that you can also get back your refund easily,BEFORE YOU JOIN.They make it easy for you to join but then you have trouble accessing presonnel.HOW I KNOW,I HAVE BEEN A VICTIM.I think that there should be a away to weed these bad companies out of the system because they make it harder for legal/legit companies to operate.I type this message so that my Mylot friends would not be taken advantage of,please beware, check every single angle before you give them your hard earned cash.Thank you.

That is good advise! I wanted to just say one of the ways that I make sure i can get my money back is that I use PAY PAL to purchase or invest in my online ventures. When they do not turn out as i they promise or they are just not what they appeared to be, i use my paypal resolution section, to contact them. And i have not had one problem getting my money back via PayPal. It also helps me keep track of how much and who i invested in, so I can see that i tried something already. There was a time i would keep getting sucked into the same money making scam because they would change the name or things they were using now i can see via Pay Pal who and where my money is going to along with the contact information of company.
I invested in a work from home program, and they refused to return my money, and kept trying to get me to 'work' the program, though i had already done all they asked.. and i sitll was not happy because i did not get the results they promised, I had to track the contact information and it was actually coming from out of the country. I was using my bank instead of Pay Pal...and I will never do that again.
Thanks for the topic

I think two rules. 1 No legitmate company will ever ask you to pay anything up front and 2 Never give any personal details such as bank account numbers of credit/debit card numbers before you are absolutely certain that they company is genuine.
Also remember unless you have some special talent you don't earn large salaries working from home

That's really kind of you researcher. I'm sorry to hear that you've been a victim.
Anyway, what I do to make sure that a site really pays, is that, I post it here in myLot. I ask other myLotters if the site pays or if its a scam. And many times it worked!

I learnt about this truth way long before therefore never invest in such things. I rather first ask my fellow mylotters first.
