It depends on how old the child is. Under 5 enough to buu a candy bar and to save some. this is the best time to teach children to save. When they start school give them enoutto spend ,save, and get school supplies.

Pocket money? What's pocket money? Where can I get some? If from my pocket...I don't have anythere....no wait! I don't have pockets!!!!!!!!!

I do not give my children money. They have to earn it on a weekly basis. I feel it teaches them the value of my and they are more apt to save it instead of spend it because they had to work for it.
