actually its just the way how you communicate with the client and also if you could
do exactly the job and understand the job..
We'll sometime even though we have skills to do the job but we are not that good at
convincing the client that we can do the job..
Just a short tip: apply a job that you think you can and you meet the deadlines of
client. First bid as low as others since its your first freelance job that if you'll
going to hire by the client.. and if it will succeed then it will be your steping stone for the upcoming freelance job.. since you can gain feedback from a client cause job posters are also searching or the best and the most qualified applicant or bidder just to ensure that the project are to be done and delivered on time with good quality..

I've never had any luck on those sites where you have to become a member, and then bid on jobs. I have had luck using job sites like freelancewritinggigs.com, journalismjobs.com, sunoasis.com, freelancewriting.com, problogger.com, and so on. The key is to write a good query, and submit samples. Also, try demandstudios.com because there's never any shortage of work to choose from over there. Good luck!

One good thing to remember in freelancing especially if you are still starting out is building a good reputation. It is basically selling yourself. And if you sell something, you provide the benefits why they should choose your service.
Second, once you get a job, make sure that you are able to meet the time requirements and make sure that what you give is always "quality" results. And the rest would be history.
