Have you ever heard a child say something really silly? Something thats made you laugh, or perhap a word they constantly say wrong but it's funny or a child that just says something that's cute.
This is one my 8 year old nephew said to me last weekend, I have my own greeting card business and when I'm making cards he just loves to watch and touch all the glittery stuff, so I asked him if he wanted to make me a card, which he did. When he'd finished, he came to proudle show me and I was admiring his card making skills, when he pointed out these strawberry stickers he'd put on and he said "Do you know why I put them on?" I said "no I haven't a clue" he said "because the strawberries remind me of your kisses" I was toally bowled over, told him he was a little charmer and would do well with the ladies when he grew up but it was a real awwww he's so cute!

Hi ya scorpio19
Awww how sweet! My kids have said plenty but I will tell one of the most recent ones that really made me laugh. We got a new car (not brand new but new to us!!) and I asked my eldest son 'where would you like to go in the car?' and he said he wanted to go and visit his nanny in Cornwall. Then I asked my middle son the same question to which he replied 'in the front mummy'. I laughed so much at that one and for quite some time after, bless him.

I just thought I would mention something that was said by middle son only today, he is 5. He belched out loud, which is something I don't tolerate from them and they know it. My friend had popped around with her son to play and I told my son he was so rude to which he replied, very serioulsy, 'I'm not rude mummy, I'm disgusting'!! Both me and my friend found it hard to retain our laughter on that one I can tell you!!

oh bless his little heart for such innocence, oh that's brillant, glad you told me..
I remember my now 15 year old son when he had just started nursery school, I picked him up one day and has we mothers do, went on to ask him what he had for his lunch at school that day and they are never forth coming kids, so I was suggesting foods and I was just getting a nod or a shake of his head in response.
I asked "did you have chips?" for instance and he shook his head
"uhmmm did you have beans?" shake of his head
and so it went on until I asked
"Did you have tomatoes?"
at this he looks up and said "Yes mummy but I only had one mateo not two"
oh I could of eaten him, he was so sweet when he was little shame he's 6' now and only grunts at me..lol

Hi Scorpio, how lovely, that is so cute he must love you very much...looking back on my two as it it a long time ago they are now 26 and 25 I will always remember my daughter had difficulty in saying cerain words but one day I caught her putting my make-up on and asked her what she was doing her answer was ' only putting you plipstick on mummy, then one day being so small I was in the front room and went into the kitchen my daughter had crawled into the washing machine! it was harder getting her out lol..but the funniest thing was it was a weekend and I had a little lie in then both my son and daughter came up and proudly said 'we have done all the polishing for you mum, come and look'...up I get and to my horror coming down the stairs they had used boot polish and plastered it on the walls as well as the furniture, yet I couldn't tell them off as they had thought they had helped me..getting that off was a task and a half...hugs littleowl

How did you get the boot polish off...lol...I remember my two eldest came down the stairs once like a pair of casper ghosts, I went upstairs to find a cloud of talc and it everywhere in their beedroom, mind you my upstairs smelt lovely for weeks of Johnson's baby powder..lol

Hi scorpio19...
quite a few years ago now, when the film Aladin was released on disney, my son and I were in a busy town centre, when he noticed a man with a turban on....
to which he yelled at the top of his voice full of excitment...
" Look mummy there's Aladin "
Oh my god.... it was so funny, a number of people around us laughed.... kids are great for keeping a smile on your face,
and my nephew used to call my dads false teeth transformer teeth..... bless um eh !!!

Children are so funny. Either they speak the most profound truth or silliest nonsense. Once I was waiting for bus and overheard the conversation between 2 kids. Apparently we were waiting for the same bus, bus number 99.
A: Look at the opposite direction, the second 99 bus arrived. This side no bus yet.
B: You should see this direction, not that (opposite) direction.

What a lovely thing to say. My youngest son who is three in May is always coming out with funny things. The most recent was when he was telling his big sister all about the snowball fight me him and one of his brothers had.
He said to her 'Me, mummy and Kian had a snowman ball fight. It did make me giggle as he does not call it snow it is snowman.
Also the one my four year old niece came out with was another one that made me laugh.
My partner noticed that she was wearing odd socks. He said to her your wearing odd socks and she replied they are my accidental socks.

Hi scorpio!
What about a phrase or something that when said by adults is somewhat insulting, but when said by kids, is totally wacky?!
One of my twin daughters told her daddy that she wanted to go to sleep. She was making tantrums at that time already but her daddy still kept on making jokes. Finally, my daughter said, "I really want to go to sleep." Her daddy asked, "Why baby? Are you sleepy?" My daughter looked straight to his daddy's face and said, "Daddy, don't ever ask me questions with obvious answer!"
My husband and I laughed our hearts out!

Hi Tamara,
they should change the name of gloves to something else I remember never been able to say that as a child but like you've said perhaps not it's cute when a child can't say it and yes apparently so my kisses are just like strawberries, he's one on his own my nephew, a little funny chap.

certainly, my 4 year old son always says something out of the blue and doesn't mean to him at all but it does mean to us , i would ask him to repeat or rephrase the words because that makes me smile ,even his brother and daddy would laugh at him and would also ask him to say it again because we would record it and let him listen to it afterwards.

A friend of mine is a teacher and she teaches five year olds. There's a little boy in her class from Russia and he speaks pretty good english but sometimes he gets a bit muddled. A few weeks ago they were at the computers and he told my friend 'Miss there's no rat with my computer!'
Is'nt that just the cutest thing!?
