Next year, I'm considering going to the University of Wyoming, in Laramie, Wyoming, USA. Does anyone have any advice, experience, or thoughts they'd like to share about Wyoming - particularly this part of town? So far, I've heard nothing but horrible things about the area and the college itself - and it would be refreshing to hear some more (hopefully more positive) experiences. :) Did you like living in Wyoming? What was it like? What are some things you can do in Laramie, WY? Thanks! :)

i don't know if you have been to Wyoming before? i spent one winter working up there.it is a beautiful state in the summer both weeks of it. all i can tell you is dress warm. it is a beautiful state but they have hard winters.the first day i was there it was -28 degrees. i have heard the that the university was a grate school. i hope you know how to drive in the snow.i don't mean to paint a bad picture.if i was offered a job back up there i would return i a minute.good luck and a good life to you.

Honestly, right now I'm living in Minnesota - and I think it's probably fair to say that we have equally-horrible winters (especially when driving). I've been to Yellowstone before, during the winter (to snowmobile), although I've never been to Laramie, Wyoming - and I've never been there in the summer. So it definitely shall be interesting to say the least. Thanks for your response!

That's ok! I'm only a few states away from Wyoming, so I assumed the weather wouldn't be so different. But I'm glad you've heard good things about the university! And thanks again for the response!
