how often do you have guests

during sundays my parents are always busy accomodating our guest mostly relatives and their friends who wants to chat about their past adventures in life.. our home is the place for every family occasions like birthdays and "despidida"farewell party. the children invited guest during the weekdays so that theres not so many people inside the house.

I rarely have guest or visitors in my house. Don't really like having them in the house as my home is my private abode. So my husband and I only our immediate family members over. They will come over for chats that's all. Just like our home to be peaceful and quiet.

I rarely have people over to my home. I deal with people all day so my home is like my sanctuary, the place I escape to to be rid of all that. I do have visitors occasionally but I notice that I am much more anxious and jumpy when they come to my house; if I go to their house I'm much more relaxed. But also, because I don't really like having people at my place I make sure that whenever I'm invited anywhere I am the best guest imaginable! I really try to help out and clean up after myself. I think being a good guest, the kind of person someone would want to have over, is very important and far too often forgotten.

Yes, I have guests very often, mostly relatives. On festivals, we visit each others. My mother in the 90s is happy to see her next generations together. And my grandson is eager to visit his aunts and uncles. And my son is still in close relationship with his cousins. That is a special phenomenon for the single child in china. In past years, we used to go to the restaurant to have dinners. But recently we are meeting more at home. Every time, before the invitation, I would have a thorough cleaning. That seems to be a side product of the event.

We have guests at least once a week, whether it be my mother in law or a friend, somone is here at least once a week. For over night vistors though, that's usually twice or three times a year, because they live far away. They usually stay at least a week.
