Associated Content changed the name of my poem from "Black Obama to An Ode to Black History (Obama), Why?Why did they have to change the name from "Black Obama"?Do they believe that by changing the name that keeps Obama from being too black? Does associated content believe that by changing the name that protects the pyschology or the status quo? Too late! The poem talks about where did Obama get his credentials to become the leader of Black people? Was he black enough? Did Obama go through enough black struggle to understand?I thought the poem was totally acceptable. There were no cuss words but there was slang. I did use the n...g word.
The name was changed because of fear that playing field of life is starting to even up and the value of skin color is lessoning.

possible to make it sound more politically correct.. Obama is actually black and White.... Many people feel the "Black" thing is being overdone and pushed into the faces of other races... I really could care less but I admit I am annoyed by it too. I respect people of all races, religions, and cultures... Well, you should ask the Associated Content site.. why they can give you a better answer than our guessing :) - DNatureofDTrain
