How many of you have ever tried shark fin soup? Are you aware that most species of sharks are endangered?

I have tried shark fin soup several years ago at the restaurants. It is very expensive, and served in small portions. As for the taste, I feel more thought of as a mental luxury for honorable guests. Why are they endangered? I am interested to learn.

You know hat? Most of the pochers just cut off the shark fin and throw the sharks back to the water, although the sharks are still bleeding, and that is also the reason why so many sharks die. As a matter of fact, sharks will not attach human being untill they feel dangers from outside. According to statistics, yet not proved by government agencies, there is almost no nutritionl compenents in shark fins. So please stop consuing them.

I haven't tried shark fin soup but I've tried shark's fin here in the Philippines wherein it is fried and eaten as viand or snacks and it tastes good. I guess most people are aware that sharks are now becoming endangered but they still fail to realize it considering the fact that many are selling and buying shark's fin.
