I wanted to avoid this ofcourse everyone does. But for me being a mother of one with a husband whose job has been affected by economic crisis this is serious. Confused? well recently I have been surfing the net for a home based part time online job and as far as I have surfed everything seems too good to be true and quiet malicious. I just wanted some one who is concern enough to help me know on how to prevent this fraud and scams. Thanks

When I read about an online job that I might be interested in I always search for reviews about the company. I want to see what other people think about this company and I want to see if people accuse the company of scamming or if there has been other problems. There are two things you have to consider when you read the review. One of them is the date. If the review is old, the company could have been sold or it could have turned in to a scam after the review was written. The second thing you should consider is whether the review is genuine or written by someone who got paid for doing it.

Well. Everybody is talking that any offer asking for payment is scam. I'm not against it, since most of them are.
But there are also cheaters who always try to cheat even if you present a genuine program. Genuine programs work slow, but these cheaters try to get quick results.
And some people don't understand something when it is given free.
I have developed some kind of tools (I call it tools, but anyone can develop it themselves) to assist getting referrals in my free programs. I did a lot of trial and errors. I used to give it free to my referrals so that they too get referrals. Since it was given free, nobody used it or they started using it for their own programs. I think, collecting money is the only way to keep away these cheaters.
Even if I start any program, I too will ask anybody to pay money, but not as fees. It would be like some kind of deposit to be refunded after certain period.

Warning signs of scams are if you have to pay for it. I usually check with the BBB about businesses and do web searches asking if certain sites and programs that I am interested in are scams and read the reviews. The pages were they have a whole bunch of pictures of nice expensive things and highlighted sentences and paragraphs I don't trust, if making that much money in a short period of time was real everybody would me multimillioners. Hope this helps a little. And the other sites out there like mylot that pays for participation I haven't found one that is better than mylot except for one that seems to be good but not better as far as easy navigation and such is sizeofpaper.
