I'm a writer for a real magazine. I found it on Craigslist. They pay me $1.50 per column inch. I hope I can keep this one for a while. I need a little more regular income than Mylot. I also need clips so I can get more regular writing jobs, fellowships, and grants. Therefore, I don't really care how much money I get paid. I need it for other things. Wish me luck!

Every once in awhile we get a surprise and it sounds like you just got one. $1.50 per column inch, does sound like a pretty good deal, here's to hoping that they want you to write lots for them.
You are absolutely right sometimes the ability to put a job on a resume is more important than the actual income that job may provide, but of course everyone can also use the extra cash.

Wow, congratulation!!! you are lucky to have this job because most place all I heard is lay off people instead of hiring. Everywhere is bad, but if you offered to have it, take it. Don't let this luck get away. I wish you good luck

Congratulations. Take care and do well in your new work. You must be a good writer to be able to get that kind of job. I have been accepting online jobs too and they are worthy to have since I am a work at home mom. Goodluck!
