I am going to complete my engineering in 6 months in electronics and communication(from india) but i don't feel like working in engineering field. So, what options do i have in terms of post graduation or work experience(besides MBA). I have no problems going abroad. PS:- i have been placed in LnT Infotech but due to recession i am sure i wont get a call since my seniors havnt got a call yet.

Hello friend, Since you are from EnC field, you have a lot of options open for you, even if you dont want to work in core engineering field. You can go for the hundreds of software firms, who will train you and the job will not consist of anything you have learned in your four years of engineering. If you do not like that either, then you might straightaway go for MBA or even G-MAT, which will give you a masters degree and a really solid platform from where to launch your career. If you hate all of these, there are a lot of jobs in the Indian Banking sector these days. They pay very well and they do not require any of the engineering knowledge. have a good life!

If you do not want to enroll in MBA, then you can join Management System Certification Agencies. For that you will have to undergo a 5 days Lead Auditor course (ISO 9001: 2008) and start as a trainee in some certification agency.
