do you remember how much someone owes you or how much money they have not paid

cause i do remember how much they owe me and i usually don't let them borrow again if the have not fulfilled their promise to pay me back. cause i don't understand why would any one will try to borrow money from us and don't have any plan to pay them in the future. i feel that they should repay it out of decency and respect. don't they have shame and they just live as if they don't owe any one at all.
